I use ingredients native to Mexico, as well as ingredients transplanted to Mexico that have been widely used thanks to centuries of direct trade with Spain, the Philippines, the Caribbean, and South America, as well as indirect trade with Africa, South Asia, and China. Rather than creating new recipes, this site adjusts some of our favorite recipes with healthier and simpler cooking techniques and adds vegetables and seeds where there is usually too much emphasis on meats and dairy, without changing their flavor or texture.
This site provides a simple, healthy framework you can use to prepare your favorite cuisines from any part of the world: best food combinations, ideal time of day to eat certain types of foods, etc.

The recipes are healthier than those you can find in most Mexican cookbooks and websites. In addition, if you are vegan or vegetarian like many of my friends who love Mexican food, every recipe prepared with meat has dairy or vegetarian substitutes. This site also provides a simple framework so you can prepare and combine any type of cuisine from any part of the world to make it healthier. In time, cooking delicious, wholesome meals that feed your body, mind and soul will become intuitive and a way of life.
